These Rider Floorboard extensions are an easy install, extending the Floorboards outward, away from the exhaust pipes and engine. This is a much more comfortable ride and no more boot scuffs on the exhaust and primary. It does Not require any modification to the bike, or changes to the brake or shift levers.
You can choose to add the optional spacer that keeps the shift peg in-board, giving even more room for your foot on the floorboard. Without it, the shift peg stays in the same position, relative to the floorboard as stock.
Either way will work, it's just a preference of whether you want the shift peg in the same position, relative to the floorboard, or if you want the shift peg a little more inboard of the floorboard for more boot room. Look at the photo's.
Does not interfere with engine guards.
With these you can use the entire Floorboard, not just the outside half.
Keeps your boots off the exhaust and on the floorboards.
Gives you room to get your legs away from the heat.
Once you ride with them, you will be surprised how cramped you feel on bikes with floorboards right next to the motor.

I looked at this item for several years and finally pulled the trigger and wish I had sooner. It puts you in a much more comfortable riding position over stock. This keeps you cooler and keeps your legs and boots away from the bike. Longer rides are way more comfortable now. You should 100% buy this!

Softail Floorboard Spacers 0 people found this helpfulI initially used another brand that was only 3/4" thick,. They were nice, but the DK setup is much more comfortable at 1". Due to installing a larger air cleaner, I installed an extended brake.lever pad as well. Everything fit perfect & parts are great quality

Great idea, better product 0 people found this helpfulThis is great! I was quickly tired of leaving boot marks on the exhaust pipe. Found this product on a Harley forum and figured for the cost it was worth a try. The parts are strong and forged to the shape of the frame and board pieces so appear almost seamless. Instructions were simple and took less than an hour to remove and replace both sides. Thanks DK Customs!

looks great but.. 0 people found this helpfulnice to move floorboard out but need the brake lever out also or. at least the brake as my screamin eagle air intake that they put on blocks my leg to reach the brake. They lost their mind but I'm stuck with my foot that dos not bend 45 deg to reach the brake pad. . pad moves out mainly but flloorboards and all moved is whats needed.

I purchased these board extensions and the optional peg shifter. The latter I was not sure on exactly what it did until after I installed the board extensions. As usual this product was great just as the extensions I did for the Trikes. Great products and informational vids. Keep up the great work folks and thanks again.

I guess I misunderstood the description about the shifter spacer so I had to order that separately, which was a bit more than when ordered with the kit. Live and learn. Overall a great product.

Top 2 mod for my 2021 Heritage 107 1 people found this helpfulThese extenders provide tremendous relief from engine heat in the summer and allow full use of the floorboards and increased comfort. Easy to install, quiality pieces. Much more comfortable riding longer distances. Highly recommend the shift spacer too. I added mine later because I didn't understand exactly what it did. Don;t make the same mistake, order it with the extenders. BTW - out of the $5 grand I spent on mods, this one and the fork mount wind deflectors make the bike near perfect for cruising. My top 2.

Great, but… 0 people found this helpfulGreat product and quality. Easy install for the most part, but the bolts were about a 1/4” too long. Wouldn’t snug fit. Had to add a spacer to each bolt (had on hand). Does make a difference riding especially on the exhaust side. Got the shifter spacer also. No issues with the spacer.

Not only did it help with this on both sides, but it was much more comfortable riding. My legs are in a much more comfortable spread-out position. I was worried it might cause some scraping on tight turns, but haven't noticed any difference.

No more checking foot position 0 people found this helpfulFinally got to go for a ride and test out the floorboard extensions. First thing I noticed was I didn’t notice anything. That’s because my feet just naturally end up on the floorboards in the correct position. No more checking to see if my feet are positioned properly. Second thing I noticed was the comfort. No more stress on the hips from trying to wrap my legs inward to be able to put my feet on the floorboards. Thirdly the optional shift peg locater is a must in my opinion. It keeps the shifter and the shifter linkage in its original position

But I noticed that I will now be able to rest my heel on the floorboard while resting the toe part of my boots on the moustache engine guard

Wish I bought them sooner 0 people found this helpfulSo much more comfortable ride. Feet are out and knees are off the tank. You get full use of the floorboards now. No more scuffing the primary cover or melting boots on exhaust. It took less than 20 minutes to install. Good quality product.

Big improvement with a great product 0 people found this helpfulThe first ride after installing both the floorboard extensions and shift lever spacer was like night and day versus the stock position. With the stock position, my feet were routinely hanging half off the floorboards. Now, with the extensions, I can place my whole foot on each floorboard, which is much more comfortable (especially at highway speeds). These are a well made product, easily installed, that should come stock.

Comfort and natural feel 0 people found this helpfulI have just gone for my first ride with the floorboard extenders and shifter spacer. Was apprehensive but now the feel is a natural fall of your legs to the footboard and no inner knee pain. For such a simple fix comfort level has increased. The spacers are of a quality fit and the paint work is great and blends with the existing fittings. Thank you DK a nice job Gary
